Adam is very sad as he sits done outside on his patio to eat alone, with JR and Colby gone. He remembers memories of his family. He can barley eat and almost drinks instead.

Tad shows up and makes a crack that he hopes he isn’t interrupting a Chandler reunion. Adam says, Have you come to gloat over JR leaving?” Tad is surprised and Adam says that he knew because Tad helped him to decide to move out.

Tad tells Adam to stay out of his children’s lives and just be proud of them. He tells him to give JR a second chance. Adam tells Tad that JR and Colby are his, not Tad’s.

Colby is still struggling with Adam sabotaging Sean. She tells Tad that she speaks to her mother but feels that her mother doesn’t want to get too involved with her. Tad tells her that her mother is just trying to give her her own space so she can find things out for herself. He reassures her that her mother loves her and understands what it is like to trust Adam and then get hurt by him.

Krystal tells Colby that she thought she would be delighted that she fired Ava, but Colby does not gloat and has empathy for Ava and tells Krystal that maybe when your own mother doesn’t even want you and you are used to everyone hating you then maybe you wreck new relationships, because you are so used to people hating you.
