Adam shows up dismayed at Jenny’s Baptism

July 12th, 2007

Krystal plans Jenny’s baptism on the beach because that is where Babe was baptised. Dr. Joe Martin says that it is also Tad’s birthday. The whole gang is there including Stuart. Everyone but Adam. Tad asks Jamie to be baby Jenny’s godfather and he excepts. Then Krystal asks Colby to be Jenny’s godmother. She is flattered, surprised, delighted and excepts as well. The family reassures her she will be a great godmother.

Babe and JR have a chat together while little A plays in the sand. Babe says that he is setting a bad example for Little A and one day little A will understand all the things Jr has done and he won’t think it is a big deal if JR doesn’t. She is worried he will imitate his mistakes. She asks JR about Amanda and JR asks about Jamie and her. She says they are only friends and the late nights were only about studying for her GED.

Krystal tells JR that she knows what he did. JR offers to leave but she tells him he can stay but to come and see her  a different day and she will give him an earful. “Wear espies” says Tad.  Tad is so humorous. Adam is watching the whole family together and is in pain that he is not part of there gathering. Krystal notices him and goes to see him. He tries to apologise but cannot get the words out to her. She replies that maybe it hasn’t been long enough or maybe it has been too long and leaves. Stuart goes to see Adam and tells him now is the perfect opportunity to apologize. Adam leaves, almost doubled over in pain from emotion.

It is nice to see the whole Martin family together today on AMC.

Stuart tries to buy the mansion back from Zach for Adam

July 11th, 2007

Stuart shows up at Zach’s house to propose a deal with him. He helps Zach assemble a crib for the expectant  baby and asks him if he can buy the Chandler mansion back.

Zach does not want to do it. He tells Stuart that Adam can buy another house and live there for his family. Stuart tries to explain to Zach that it is not just a trophy for Adam  but a home for Little A and for Colby. He says that a home has many precious memories that mean so much to the family living there. He gives a heartfelt plea to Zach and says, “A wall or door can have a chip of paint off it and you remember how it happened.”

Stuart is all heart. You have to admire his devotion to his family. He goes on to explain that the family needs stability and he will be a father to little A and Colby if he has to be. He says that he has some money, but not enough so he will make up the difference by giving Zach the deed to his art gallery. Zach says he will think about his offer.

Sweet Stuart, now he’s going to lose his business to Zach as well? That is too much. I hope Zach agrees to let Stuart buy the mansion, but lets poor Stuart keep the deed to his gallery. That would be a low blow if he took possession of that too, after all he does not have anything against Stuart.
