AMC July 6, 2007 According to Adam Chandler, Zach Slater has a new guard dog, Erica Kane! Also is Erica Kane losing her sanity??
Erica Kane goes pays a visit to Adam Chandler. She tells him that her tow grandsons are fighting for their lives. Adam comments that he sent flowers to the hospital and then even went to visit Zach but “your son-in law was unreceptive.” he states.
“No,” Erica contradicts, you went to see how vulnerable Zach was and you are planning a takeover right now of Chandler, do not get Zach back. Your company is like your flesh and blood and you feel Zach stole it from you and now you want it back. Adam corrects her, “No, Zach took Chandler when I was vulnerable, when my son was kidnapped. ” Erica then says that she cares about him and insists that if he cares about her he should not plan to get Zach back. Adam taunts her, “What are you Zach’s new guard dog now”? I thought you despised him and would do anything to keep him away from your daughter. “That was then, this is now, I was wrong, Zach loves Kendall and his children.” Erica admits.
Don’t you just love it when David Canary is funny, he is a witty actor and All My Children would not be the same with out him. I hope he is around for a very long time, no one could ever replace him!
Ads far as Erica goes, I think she needs a reality check, she was right to says that Chandler is Adam’s baby, and rightly so. Now that Zach underhandedly stole it from him when his sons life was in danger was a low blow Zach took at him to get him back for JR mistakenly putting Kendall in the hospital. There was no mistake by Zach’s revenge and now Erica has the nerve to tell Adam he cannot try to get his own company back. Zach definitely took advantage of Adam, his house, cars, business and all worldly possessions, slightly extreme!!! And not to mention, underhandedly also keeping the $100,000,000. Adam just can’t prove it yet. Adam has every right to get his company back and Zach deserves what coming to him by taking it in the first place!!!! “When someone takes something form you, you want it back” Erica says to Adam, like it’s no big deal that Zach took his company, his son’s and grandson’s inheritance, that’s all. She acts like Zach took a library book from Adam. How would she be reacting if someone stole New Beginnings from under her nose or Fusion from Kendall. A whole different story. In fact, she was just at Fusion telling babe that Greenlee is going o try and take Fusion from Kendal while she is most vulnerable and can she cont on Babe not get green lee out of the company. If anyone needs a break from a company it is Kendall with her hands full of her babies. The stress already caused her to deliver early. Adam has no one and anything to do except his company, needs. it. What a double standard when it is her company or Adam’s! I suppose because Zach took Chandler and Kendall stands to benefit that is why she is throwing a hissy that Adm shouldn’t” Get Zach back” and take it back. I was ready to hurl!!!

Adam has Lucretia make some finger sandwiches and tea for her. She rejects them and says” I came here for your word that you will not fight Zach for your company while they are fighting for their children lives. Erica just admitted it. His company, she doesn’t expect him to fight for his own company, I say Zach gets the fight the deserves, Adam did not choose when to lose it and either can Zach. But the funniest thing is when Adam replies to her, “They are not the only ones fighting, you are standing here today, fighting for your sanity.” Well put, I love it!! She just looked stunned when he said exactly what I was thinking!! Next follows what I think was a very touching moment. Adam asks how Spike is and Erica says he seems so confused and she doesnt know how to explain who hurt him. Adam tells her that children are reliant” and its true, adults have a harder time. Then he asked about baby Eon. Erica gives a very touching heartfelt answer, “ He is so tiny and the first time she saw him it was hard to see him through all his tape and tubes and they tapped his little eyes shut because they don’t want him to be over stimulated and she just wanted to rip all his tubes off and hold him and make him better, I want him to live, every minuter he lives is a miracle.” ”It’s amazing what they can do with preemie’s nowadays,” Adam answers. Erica cries and Adam holds her to comfort her. He was very genuine when he asked about Spike and Eon, he does care. Erica still has Adam swear he will not go after his company or Zach. Adam swears. Erica is called by tht ehospital and rushes off, without even thanking Adam. Afterall she just got him to swear to her. Adam calls his men and tells them it is perfect for take over, Zach is too busy with his children.
